It's great being a Big! My Little Brother and I get together once a week for simple activities like Miniature Golf. The best part? I know I'm helping my Little just by spending time with him.

Volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters

Become a Big Brother or Big Sister

Big Brothers Big Sisters is an international organization dedicated to improving the lives of children through mentoring programs. It's not tough to be a "Big" -- all it takes is a desire to help out kids. You'll spend a few hours a week with your "Little" doing things you'd probably be doing anyway. Things like bowling, playing basketball, going to the park, checking out the mall, or just plain ol' "hanging out." Our kids just want to spend time with their Bigs.

Your caseworker will match you with your Little based on your interests and theirs. It's pretty simple to get matched:

  • A simple background check
  • A brief home visit
  • A reference check
Think about it ... you can change the life of a kid, just by being you.
